  9. Exfoliate your skin. Depending on what your skin needs, you should try to exfoliate your skin once to twice a week. Exfoliation helps to get rid of the dead skin cells on the surface. Once they’re gone, your skin will start to glow and feel more smooth. Exfoliation also helps unclog pores and remove blackheads. If you have sensitive skin, try a more gentle exfoliator and do it less frequently as to not damage and leave your skin feeling raw.

  10. Avoid touching your face. Your hands contains dirt and germs which when exposed to the skin can clog your pores. Avoid touching your face at all times except for when you’re cleansing or applying moisturizer. Make sure that your hands are cleanly washed and dried when you need to touch your face. Also watch out for the germs on your cell phone when you’re talking. Instead, use headphones so you don’t need to put your phone directly to your face.
